Psychology and the East

Psychology and the East  – Jung was deeply concerned with the “thin” nature of European consciousness and believed Western society relied too heavily on science and logic, to the detriment of its spiritual values. Jung did not advocate for Westerners to simply adopt Eastern practices, but to understand their own unconscious first and integrate the wisdom into a Western context. He suggested that knowledge and faith should be complementary.
