Brave New World

Brave New World  – The story follows Bernard Marx, an Alpha who feels alienated from his society, and John (the “Savage”), a man from a “Savage Reservation” (where natural birth and traditional life still exist) who is brought into the World State. The clash between John’s humanistic values (love, pain, freedom) and the World State’s engineered happiness (via conditioning and the drug soma) drives the narrative to its tragic conclusion.
