Great Expectations

Great Expectations – focuses on the novel as a Bildungsroman—a story of the moral and psychological growth of the protagonist, Pip. The story begins in the Kent marshes where young orphan Pip meets an escaped convict, Abel Magwitch. Out of fear and innate kindness, Pip steals food and a file for him.
