Harvest

Harvest – The protagonist, Om Prakash, who is unemployed and living in a Mumbai slum, signs a contract with a wealthy American woman to donate his organs in exchange for a better life for his family. The contract allows the recipient total control over Om’s life, from his diet to his movements, effectively turning him into a controlled resource. The work strongly critiques the ethics of organ trafficking and the exploitation of the poor by the wealthy, where scientific advancements are used for a new form of human exploitation.
