Mansfield Park

Mansfield Park – The status quo is disrupted by the arrival of Henry and Mary Crawford, siblings from London who bring a “reckless taste for flirtation”. Mary captivates Edmund, while Henry flirts with Fanny’s cousins, Maria and Julia. While the patriarch Sir Thomas is away in Antigua, the young people plan an amateur theatrical performance of the scandalous play Lovers’ Vows. Only Fanny refuses to participate, citing moral objections.
