Much Ado About Nothing

Much Ado About Nothing –  Don Pedro, Prince of Aragon, arrives at the estate of Leonato, the governor of Messina, following a successful military campaign. He is accompanied by his soldiers, including the young nobleman Claudio and the witty Benedick. To pass the time until the wedding, Don Pedro and his friends plot to make Beatrice and Benedick fall in love. They arrange for each to “overhear” conversations claiming the other is secretly in love with them. The trick works, and both resolve to requite the other’s supposed love.
