My Name is Ravana

My Name is Ravana – is a book written by Bala Sankuratri, which retells the ancient Indian epic the Ramayana from the perspective of its antagonist, the ten-headed king of Lanka, Ravana. The author, an extensive traveler and writer by passion, was inspired by his research into local legends in Sri Lanka pertaining to the Ramayana to write this version of the story. The book is presented in a conversational tone, as though the character of Ravana is narrating his own experiences and explaining the purpose of his actions on Earth.
