Sangili Karuppar

Sangili Karuppar – refers to a book about the deity Sangili Karuppar (or Sangili Karuppan Swami) written by the author Senthil Shree Kumar, also known as Acharya Shree Kumar Ji. He is considered the master and protector of the land and its boundaries, warding off evil forces, demons, and devils. He is believed to protect the poor and ensure justice. He is typically depicted as a dark-complexioned deity, often with a thick mustache and Tripundra on his forehead, carrying a drawn-out sword and riding a white horse. He is often associated with chains (sangili).
