The Old Man and The Sea  – Old Cuban fisherman Santiago hasn’t caught a fish in 84 days, earning him the label “salao” (worst luck). His young, devoted apprentice Manolin cares for him, bringing food and discussing baseball (especially Joe DiMaggio).He kills the marlin but can’t fit it in his skiff, so he lashes it to the side.
